BUDGETED 2023 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FOR YOUR OVERDRESSED BOYFRIEND
It's fall which means it's officially holiday season. Your mans is wearing mohair cardigans with carpenter pants and clogs. When it rains, he's wearing Chelsea boots. He always talks about these brands Kapital, Vetements, Loewe, but when you look it up, you scoff at the prices.
“What happened to Supreme? That used to be his favorite. Now he wants to look like a Tokyo native in the early 2000s,” says you.
Streetwear just won't cut it this year sweetheart, but here’s a list of things that will.
1. Adidas x 032c GSG Mule

This is a real favorite of mine that I think was super slept on. 032c has been killing it for years in the fashion space. This Adidas collab was ahead of its time. Theres this pair and the lace up trainer pair. Either will do, but I just went for the clogs since they're usually under $100 and look comfortable asl.
2. Snow Boots

He really won't expect this one. The brand of snow boot doesn’t really matter here, just the style. I like this pair specifically because of the zip up and lack of laces. He probably hasn’t worn snow boots since he was 7, but I can guarantee he will fall in love. He’s probably in an anti-branding phase right now anyways, so they should fit right in to his outfits.
3. Junya Watanabe x Levi’s
The Junya and Levi’s collabs go so hard and are fairly priced in the aftermarket. If you’re looking to get him something a little more unique, and you got some cash to spend on the man, go for these. There’re tons of pairs in all different styles and price points throughout the internet, just be ready to scroll.
4. Arc’teryx Gamma Lightweight Pant

My all-time favorite pair of pants. They are super comfortable and lightweight. I could talk about them forever. You can also buy them second hand in the aftermarket, or through Arc'teryx's Regear Site. I actually have two pairs of these in different colors. If there was one thing I had to wear for the rest of my life, it would be these pants.
5. Vintage German Military BUNDESWEHR Zip-Up

Another one I might be biased for, but hey it’s my list. These are so cool, come in all different colors, and it’s military surplus. Buy one of these, and you’re saving the planet from more textile waste. I have a bunch of these on my website for cheap, go check them out!
